Slim-built refrigeration units are specially designed for trucks with low boxes. Top-mounted refrigeration units are a common solution for shipments where food and other refrigerated goods have to be kept chilled. Examples of top-mounted refrigeration units are Hultstein’s Topline 8 and Topline 10, which are powered by a hydraulic constant flow pump mounted directly on the truck’s PTO. These units provide constant power whatever the engine speed and reduce both fuel consumption and emissions.
